What made you choose VCU?
My dad is from Suffolk, VA and is a big VCU Basketball fan. One summer, I was in Virginia for a family reunion and decided to visit the campus. I thought it was a perfect fit.
Â
What are you most looking forward to about VCU?
I’m most looking forward to the diversity and exploring a new city.
Â
How do you want to get involved on campus?
I want to join as many clubs and organizations as I have time for. I’ve always enjoyed community service, so I will definitely be a part of a service club. I also want to join the Activities Programming Board or the Homecoming Committee because I love planning events.
Â
Â
Do you have any hidden talents?
I’ve been writing music for a while. I’ve written music for my cousin, who’s a producer. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing and will probably be doing for a while.
Â
Who are your biggest influences or role models?
My biggest role model is probably my mother. She’s a very wise woman, and has taught me a lot about people and interactions in the real world. She’s taught me to stay focused and true to myself; and those two things have made me successful so far.
