For me, staying in shape is definitely at the top of my priorities! Some may question, “Why are you so careful about what you eat?” “Why are you ALWAYS working out?” Well, I just reply with, “The same reason you drink and eat crappy on the weekends! I just have a better and healthier lifestyle.” Wouldn’t you love to have a better lifestyle and be happy with what you see in the mirror everyday?! I don’t see how all of us aren’t this way. Your body is your temple, be careful what you put into it. Your body is a machine and functions properly if you eat the right things and train properly! So with that being said, you betcha my butt will still be in the gym even while studying for finals. Yes—some multitasking over here!
So, at the very most the gym should only take an hour out of your day if you’re keeping your workouts simple. Print out your notes or bring your flashcards to the gym and get on the elliptical and place them on the stand in front of you! If you’re lifting, during your minute rest, look at those notes again! Then get back to lifting. Honestly, it all depends on how dedicated you are to school and your body to get this multitasking down to a “T”.
If you’re the type that likes to work out at home instead, then it’s probably even easier for you to multitask. Do some squats, ab exercises and booty workouts while your notes are in hand. Or even better, have them taped on your wall right in front of you and just read them while you exercise!
If you’re unsure about what exercises you should perform, do your research. You do not want to overwork yourself or even underwork yourself. Pinterest has a lot of ideas for “at home” workouts and bodybuilding.com has GREAT lifting and training plans for beginners, intermediates, and advanced people.
