Why did you choose VCU?Â
Because I loved the art school and the diversity. Â
What’s your favorite thing about VCU?
I love the different and cultured people, and the arts. It’s definitely different.
What has been your most memorable experience here?
Joining Her Campus. It was the one thing I did that was doing something on campus.
Who’s your favorite Disney Princess?
Oh my god, I’ve been waiting forever for this moment. Cinderella. She’s always been my favorite. I just loved how like, the whole idea was that she didn’t wish for a prince. She just asked for a night out. And I grew up cleaning in a bed and breakfast, so that was my nickname. I was always cleaning. I grew up going to Disneyland and I got to see her castle every year and it was my favorite.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
Ireland is definitely my place. I’m really excited to go there this summer.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
Yeah actually, wait what’s his name? My dad’s actually friends with him. What was his name? Let me ask him. Jimmy Connors. I Irish step danced for his 50th birthday. I was 12. He was big in his time or whatever. I think his latest thing in the  tabloids is about cancer and he blamed it all on women.
Oh and once I was 8 and in a group of about 6 and we were going to a birthday party in Hollywood. So we saw Chad Michael Murray, and this was when he was in One Tree Hill. We all kind of stopped and just gawked at him and he was with his girlfriend and waved to us. All of our moms kept telling us to keep moving but we just kept staring.
What year did you join Her Campus?
Spring 2015
Why did you join Her Campus?
Oh gosh, such a funny story. So I was applying for a ton of jobs and I thought that Her Campus was a job. Then I realized halfway through the interview I found out it was an organization. I was like wait..I have to pay to be in it? I didn’t understand what was happening. And then I realized. The exec board, Noura, Sarah, Kristina and Hannah saw right through me. Hannah, our current president, actually didn’t want me but the rest thought I was adorable so I was lucky that I was voted in.
What has been your favorite memory/event in HC?
The Great Gatsby event that we did. There was a lot of glitter. There’s probably glitter in every room we’ve been in. It was actually one of the ideas I came up with, I was like YES, they chose my idea. It was super exciting and fun to plan.
What is your favorite thing about HC?
All of the amazing events we’ve put on for people. Like the prom dresses we donated made the girls so happy and the purse drive made such an impact. Knowing that we’re doing things that are actually impacting women and making a difference.
