There is nothing more relaxing than sitting down to watch your favorite TV show. Tuning in to the season premiere of a show and live-tweeting, looking up articles about your favorite show, finding Tumblr posts explaining why two characters belong together and (embarrassing to admit) looking up videos made of your favorite pairing. I am a total fan girl and will obsess over the shows I watch. But for some reason I find myself delving into the realm of the unknown and watching shows made for teenagers in Australia and wondering why no one can relate with me on this. There are so many struggles associated with loving a TV show that no one knows about.Â
1. When the season premiere comes on and you check every social media site ever and find not one single post about it.Â
Like, come on guys, I need to comment on the main character’s new haircut.
2. When someone insanely crazy happens and you can’t deal but no one understand.Â
What do you mean yesterday was a good day? Yesterday was the day my OTP broke up. Please, mourn with me.Â
Â
3. It’s even worse when your favorite character dies and no one cares.Â
Quite possibly the worse thing to ever happen in the history of ever but no one knows because they don’t watch the show.Â
Â
4. Talking about your favorite characters to no end and having no one know who you’re talking about.Â
Â
I need someone to obsess over my favorite’s eyebrow game but nope. No one gets it.
5. Wanting to make references but no one would understand them.Â
Literally the perfect opportunity to make the funniest joke but no one would get it.Â
6. Being obsessed with the actors.Â
When the best character’s actor uploads the cutest picture ever of their #OOTD and you squeal but no one knows who they are so they can’t revel with you in your obsessiveness.
7. Trying to find articles, posts, just anything about the show to know you aren’t alone in your heartbreak.Â
But no, it really seems like you’re alone in your constant anguish.Â
As you can see, watching a show that no one knows about is a lone battle. But fortunately, how amazing the show is makes up for it.Â
