Spoiler alerts ahead!

If you’ve been watching “Love Island USA” season two, then you are fully aware of how dramatic this season has been. Pretty much all of the couples have gone through a lot of ups and downs, but one couple, in particular, has been smooth sailing towards the finish line since they got together. Justine was one of the original girls this season on Love Island, but she was not having luck forming a connection with anyone until Caleb entered the Villa. Her entire aura changed and lit up after she finally found someone who made her feel wanted and excited at the potential of finding love. Watching their journey has been exhilarating, and I’ve enjoyed every second, which is why I think they deserve to win this season of Love Island. Here are four reasons I think their relationship is the strongest in the Villa!

They Both Ultimately Decided They Wanted Each Other After Casa Amor

Justine and Caleb were a fairly new couple when they left for Casa Amor, so whether or not they’d stay loyal to each other was kind of up in the air. It was obvious they had chemistry, but they hadn’t had the opportunity to create a strong foundation as of yet. Despite this, both Caleb and Justine stayed loyal to each other and didn’t kiss anyone outside of the challenges they had to participate in. The audience was shocked when a couple that we had perceived to be stronger, Johnny and Cely, did not withstand the temptation of Casa Amor. Johnny verbally had given Cely affirmation that what they had was special, but on the first day of Casa Amor, he was making out with someone else. Even after being reminded by Caleb that Cely was practically in love with him, he still proceeded to make out with one of the girls in Casa Amor. After he’d had his share of fun, he started to feel guilty and decided not to engage in those activities anymore; then he returned back to the Main Villa in the hopes of reuniting with Cely. Cely ends up forgiving his transgressions despite him being manipulative, insecure and possessive as a result of his guilt. Cely and Johnny ended up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, and some believe they have the strongest connection now, but that assumption is incorrect. Caleb and Justine didn’t have to explore other options in a disrespectful manner to know that they didn’t want anyone else—their connection was enough. Johnny, so easily having his head turned, shows that he doesn’t care about Cely as much as he claims to.

They Support Each Other

Justine and Caleb have always supported each other. They are close with everyone in the villa and serve as just about everyone’s unlicensed therapist, but they don’t usually receive the same support in return. When Justine was upset because she missed her family, and she was worried that they might have been disappointed in the decisions she made, Caleb was there for her. He went up to check on her and made her feel a lot better. In relationships, both parties are not always going to be happy, and sometimes they may need to lean on each other. Caleb showing that he cares about Justine’s wellbeing and being able to just listen, demonstrates the strength of their bond.

They Have Demonstrated That They Can Work Together

Justine communicated to Caleb that she needed more physical affection, or else she would start to overthink, and Caleb listened to her concerns. So many people are quick to become defensive when their partner asks for more from them, but Caleb seriously contemplated what she asked. After listening, he decided that he was going to put in more effort to initiate affection so that Justine would feel more cared for. It’s important that couples can properly communicate and know how to listen to each other. They have demonstrated that they are willing and able to do so.

Their Sexual Chemistry

When Justine and Caleb initially got together, it was quite obvious that they were both very attracted to each other without them having to say so aloud—even though they did both verbalize it quite a few times. When the challenge where they all had to show their best dance moves to get heart rates up came around, you could cut the sexual tension between Justine and Caleb with a knife. The guy was looking at her like she was a four-course meal; it was hilarious. When they got voted into the Hideaway by the public, Caleb was quick to make some sly comments implying that they’d be engaging in some sexual activity during their stay. Justine wasn’t shy either and even mentioned coming out with some babies after they spent the night together. The chemistry between the two is palpable, and there’s a reason America chose them to go into the Hideaway—they wanted to see what happened when they were finally able to do something about all that sexual tension.

In my eyes, there’s only one couple that should even be considered when it comes to voting for who should win Love Island. So you know who I’ll be voting for when the finale comes around!
