On September 13, 2016, U.S. News and World Reports announced its 2017 “Best Colleges” list. Villanova University was tied for 50th with Penn State, Pepperdine University, and University of Florida. Rev. Peter Donohue, OSA, believes that this new ranking is an important milestone and proves that Villanova is continually moving forward. After being ranked first on the regional list for the past twenty-three years, Villanova has been moved from the regional to national ranking.Â
