Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky Palette

Personal review: This is a more versatile palette; it can be used to create an array of looks with all the different textures and colors of the shadows. It can create great daytime and nighttime looks because the colors are neutrals and will mix and match with everything.
I found that the shimmery gray shadow (“Slanted”) is overly sparkly on my lids. I also felt that the shade “Dagger” came out more blue than dark gray.
Shades from left to right: High, Dirtysweet, Radar, Armor, Slanted, Dagger, Blackmarket, Smolder, Password, Whiskey, Combust, Thirteen
To recreate the looks below, use the numbers on this picture as a guide:

-
For the highlight, use “High” or reuse “Thirteen” near the brow line
-
For your sparkle shade, apply a mix of “Dirtysweet” and “Radar” on the center of your lid

Line your bottom lash line with “Black Market” to finish it off

Personal review: I was pleasantly surprised by how the colors in this palette really made my eyes pop. I was worried that with so much red I would look crazy, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! The shades are velvety and go on smoothly. The only shades I struggled to apply were the metallic shades “LA” and “Dubai.” They went on thinly and weren’t as vibrant as the other colors.
Â
Shades from left to right: Naked, Beach, Penny, LA, Burgundy, Dubai, Brick, NY, Almond
My Favorite Look:
-
Use “Beach” as a base all over the lid
-
Then apply “Penny” in the upper crease/contour region of your eyelid and blend
-
Mix “Burgundy” and “Dubai” together and apply on the center of your eyelid
-
Use “Naked” or “LA” for the inner crease of your eyelid
-
Use “Brick” on the outer corner of your eyelid
-
Finally, use “Almond” for your bottom lash line
