Re-opening of La Lac, an Accessory Boutique on Main Street

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Virginia Tech chapter.

After being closed for the summer, La Lac re-opened earlier this month for the school year. The Accessory Boutique is new to Main Street, only having its grand opening in January of this year, but the store is already thriving with the college students.

La Lac is known for its affordable and iconic jewelry, the boutique carries the popular brands Stella and Dot and by boe as well as many others. The walls are lined with twinkling earrings, fashionable watches, and picturesque necklaces—all at a desirable price for the average college student. The charming pieces are sure to be unique, for the owner, Candace Davis, does all her buying at exclusive markets in New York and Atlanta. The store features only one of each special piece to ensure your jewelry will be one-of-a-kind.

Davis really has her Virginia Tech clients in mind this football season with Hokie jewelry and apparel. The store
carries anything and everything a fashionable woman might need for her weekends at Lane Stadium. Watches, necklaces, earrings, hoodies and scarves are only the beginning of the orange and maroon corner in the store. It’s every girl’s game day fantasy.

Along with the reasonable priced accessories, La Lac also carries some splurge items with designer sunglasses and chan luu bracelets. On the rack of sunglasses you’ll see familiar brands like Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, and Gucci. The store is now offering up to 15% off designer pieces in honor of their re-opening.

Come visit the store next time you’re shopping on Main Street, and let the staff help accessorize you!
