Springtime around Blacksburg is so beautiful it becomes nearly impossible to spend it indoors. What better way to pass the time than to try out these fun DIY projects that yield awesome final products that you can take outside with you. It’s all a cycle folks.

• Do-It-Yourself Watermark T-Shirt

This unique project has endless opportunities because the pattern you choose is completely dependent on your personal interests. This tank requires a few simple supplies, and a wide imagination. Elmer’s glue is a beautiful thing.

• Do-It Yourself Picnic Blanket

Picnic blankets provide wonderful excuses for excursions into the wilderness with a good book, a boyfriend, and a sandwich. These are just a few of my favorite things. This project may take a couple hours, but gives a big comfy reward that is worth the effort you have to put in.

• Do-It Yourself Sun Jar

This project looks awesome to me, and I can’t wait to try it out. Anyone else picturing a cute tank, an awesome picnic at dusk, and a couple Sun Jars lighting the evening as you roll around and watch the stars come out? I can!
