Name: Aaron Gabriel Fossas
Birthday: September 2, 1992
Major: Undecided
Hometown: Dudley, Massachusetts
HC (Her Campus): Okay, I’ve got to ask, are you Italian?
AF (Aaron Fossas): (Laughs) No, everyone assumes that I am though! I’m actually part Cuban and Irish.
HC: Oh really? Wow, that’s a cool combo.
AF: (Laughs) Yea.
HC: So you play baseball for Wake, right?
AF: I do.
HC: What position?
AF: I’m a pitcher and an infielder.
HC: Have you gotten a lot of playing time?
AF: This year, no. I’m redshirted this year.
HC: Oh okay. Well at least the team is doing well! So why did you choose Wake Forest?
AF: Because of baseball, actually. I mean I could have gone to other places, but I wanted to go down South. I couldn’t stay in the North anymore; I had to get away (laughs).
HC: Okay so let’s change things up a bit. When was your first kiss?
AF: My first kiss was in 7th grade.
HC: Did you like her, or was it just a spur of the moment kind of thing?
AF: Well, she was my girlfriend – I guess you could say that at that point.
HC: So what qualities do you look for in a girl?
AF: I like a girl with nice eyes, a good personality, someone who’s easy to get along with, and who likes to have fun. It’s also good if she’s a Christian, but religion isn’t a huge factor.

HC: What’s your biggest turn off?
AF: Girls who wear basketball shorts (laughs).
HC: So, when was your first date?
AF: My first real date was probably freshman year in high school. It was with my first real girlfriend.
HC: So, like, dinner and a movie?
AF: Yea, but if I’m with someone I really like I might try and think outside the box and do something that she likes. I’m not sure exactly though, it depends on the girl. If I like her a lot though, I would definitely put forth the extra effort.
HC: What’s the best date you’ve ever had?
AF: I would definitely say senior prom. I went with this girl who I had been really good friends with. She and I just had a lot of fun that night with all of our friends. That was definitely the most memorable night I’ve had with a girl.
HC: Are you a good dancer?
AF: I try my best; I’m definitely not afraid to get out there. If I had to evaluate my dancing skills I would probably say sub-par.
HC: So, do you kiss on the first date?
AF: Again, it depends. If it were with a friend that I knew for a long time, then yeah I would. But if it were with a girl that I didn’t really know that well, then maybe. It all depends on how the night is going and on the girl.
HC: Have you met anyone here?
AF: No, right now I’m fully single.
HC: Alright, so I’ve got to ask, boxers or briefs, and why?
AF: (Laughs) Definitely boxers, they’re much more comfortable and you have a lot of room.
HC: (Laughs) More leg space.
AF: Yea, exactly.

HC: What kind of music are you into?
AF: Country music. I know I’m from Boston but I love country music. One of my best friends from back home introduced me to it freshman year of high school. Ever since then it’s all I listen to.
HC: Who’s your favorite artist?
AF: Eric Church, and a close second is Luke Bryan. I listen to all kinds of music but country is definitely my favorite.
HC: Do you have any other hobbies?
AF: I love the beach, baseball, and pretty much just getting away. I do that all the time. I just like to get away by myself and clear my head.
HC: Same, I love driving by myself, listening to music, and going on road trips.
AF: Yea, my dad and I always drive from Boston to South Florida; we have family there.
HC: Wow, how many hours is that?
AF: Close to 24 hours, but we get it down to 22.
HC: So, do you have any plans for the summer?
AF: This summer I will be playing in Lake Norman for baseball season. Other than that I might be able to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in August and just relax and chill with friends.
HC: So, will you be playing baseball for Wake?
AF: Yea, they placed me on a team. We are placed on teams all around the country. I just ended up staying in North Carolina.
HC: Oh wow that’s pretty cool. How long will you be there for?
AF: Probably two months.
HC: So, what are your aspirations for your future?
AF: I definitely want to play professional baseball, and then probably have a family.
