Go with the flow. If I took anything from my weekend backpacking trip over a month ago (besides beautiful pictures and the smell of campfires) it would be that easy-going motto. For two days and one night that weekend, I travelled with Outdoor Pursuits of Wake Forest to Rock Castle Gorge, VA.

 

After a late departure, changing camping locations three times, two car-sick/hungover
vomit stops, and a conversation with a Park Ranger, we finally settled down and enjoyed some
hiking, s’mores and more stars than you could ever imagine. My hair might have smelt like a campfire afterwards but I’m always going with the flow.
