For most students, spring break may have already come and gone. But now that spring has officially arrived, it is time to embrace this season in all its glory! Here are five great ways to ring in spring in your own style:Â
- Be like a flower and soak up all that sunlight :) The second the sun starts to give the warmth it’s been withholding for the past few wintery months, I cannot get enough. If plants need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily, I say we need even more! So, I suggest you find every excuse to get outside. You could lay face up in the grass and bask in the sunrays (but don’t forget your SPF), convince your professor to take a class outside, or grab a to-go meal and enjoy it picnic style!
- Spring sports! Spring means it is officially baseball season. While I don’t understand all the rules, and baseball still does appeal to me as much as fast-paced basketball does, one cannot argue that a lively, outdoor ballpark mixed with peanuts or a hotdog to snack on is not a quintessential spring activity. Or if sports spectating isn’t your thing, get active yourself—try a walk, run, or hike with your favorite podcast and a new place to explore!
- Match your music preferences. For me, nothing says the “springtime” quite like blasting country music through your car speakers with the windows rolled down. Whatever your favorite music genre, pick some tunes with upbeat lyrics and a fun beat to get you in the spirit!Â
- Spruce up your look. Show the world how you’re celebrating spring with fun pops of color in your wardrobe, nails, hair, etc., matching the blooming and bright nature all around you!Â
- Spring clean! While this may not be the most fun item on the list, making the effort to organize and refresh your space at the start of a new season can be incredibly beneficial for your mood. A decluttered space can help you focus on the tasks ahead, put you in a better mood, and empower you to spring into productivity mode!Â
I hope you enjoy the new season with these tips! :)Â Â
