Hey there collegiettes! Your core muscles are some of the most important muscles in your body! They help stabilize your spine which helps give you more complete control of your head, neck, and pelvis. When it comes to strengthening your core, there are a lot of misconceptions. Doing 100 crunches is not the answer, contrary to what many believe! Not to mention it’s boring and time consuming. Most people have heard of HIIT (high intensity interval training) for cardio but why not apply it to other kinds of workouts? Don’t let the words “high intensity” scare you away, it just means you’re doing more work in a shorter amount of time (and who doesn’t want that?). Try this workout and be amazed at what your core can do!Â
