The gym can be an intimidating place, but it doesn’t have to be. The key to having an effective sweat session is to go in having a game plan. Below are some of my go to resources for finding quick and effective workouts.
Pinterest: WorkoutLabs
Whether it’s shoulder, legs, or abdominal exercises you are seeking, Workout Labs has great visuals to help you get the most out of your time at the gym. The workouts are laid out in an easy to use format and even give you the exact number of sets and reps they suggest you complete.
Blogilates
Cassey Ho has a YouTube channel with more than 4 million subscribers. Her videos are Pilates based exercises to help you get a long and lean physique. If you’re short on time, but want to get a workout in, her videos are sure to give you a full body workout.
Bodypump
If you have a group fitness pass come, check out a LesMills Bodypump class on the fourth floor of the Miller Center. The class focuses on using light weights and a high rep count in order to build muscle and burn fat. You will be sure to leave the class feeling accomplished and stronger than when you walked in.
