I think I speak for a lot of students when I say midterm season has hit me like a brick. I think we could all use a well-deserved, Netflix break to reset our brains and get back into the swing of things. SOME of us could also use a good reason to procrastinate. On that note, here is a list of 5 Netflix shows (in no particular order) to binge after (or during) midterms.
- Schitt’s Creek: There is a reason that this show won so many Emmys this past season. If you are looking for a comedic escape and just a good laugh to ease the pain that your Chem test has just caused.
- New Girl: New Girl is one of the most perfect shows ever created. How could you not enjoy that long drawn out romance and the quick humor? Oh, and Schmidt. Just Schmidt.
- Community: This is such a wonderful series. Consider starting your day listening to Troy and Abed in the MoOrnInG. I guarantee you will be in a better mood.
- Derry Girls: This is the most underrated TV show I ever watched. It immediately puts me in a good mood. The thick Irish accents, knee-slapping jokes, and just overall chaos. There are like no seasons and it’s just such an easy watch.
- The Great British Baking Show: I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain myself on this one. I mean what is there not to love about a baking show, British accents, yummy cake, and comedy?
