You can find him walking around in a power suit, watching the latest romantic comedies, or scaling Missouri’s largest cliffs. No matter what he’s doing, this saxophone playing, B-school member will not fail to impress you. Oh, and if you need some financial advice, be sure to hit him up. Reid is the Treasurer for the Class of 2017.

What are your favorite hobbies? I am a movie addict, I love to rock climb, and I am an experienced saxophone player.
Have you ever serenaded anyone? Maybe… (winks).
What got in you interested in treasury? I had been heavily involved in student union throughout high school as the treasurer of my class all four years. When I got to WashU, a friend of mine inspired me to run here as well.
What is your number one goal as treasurer? I want to establish a precedent of fiscal responsibility for the freshman class, and I want to allocate money fairly and appropriately to different groups on campus.
What was your favorite part of campaigning? I got to meet a lot of my classmates and had the opportunity to create relationships with people that I would not have met otherwise.
What did you do the night you got elected? I ran through Brookings Quad naked.
What do you want to do when you grow up? I want to go into the film industry and market movies.Â
How will your treasuring skills help you? It will provide me with the experience to appropriately handle assets and manage finances for the project.
What else are you involved in on campus? I am vice president of Filmboard, I’m head of strategy and organization for the PR committee of SPB, and I’m a night-off volunteer.
