It’s going to be an Election Week, not Election Day. With the amount of people voting by mail this year, we will not know for certain who will win this election on the night of November 3rd.
There is going to be a lot of misinformation coming our way. Read into things, not just the headlines, and be mindful of what you post!
Check in on each other, brave the lines, vote. It is not the year for a “protest vote,” it is not the year to write someone in as a joke.
There is too much at stake this election.
To anyone working the polls this year, thank you!
And one final reminder: you do not have to camp out in front of your TV and watch the news roll in all day on Tuesday. You can (and very well should) take a step away from the news that day. It’s going to be an intense and scary few days. Give yourself some time to relax, however that may be.
Prepare for a lot of back and forth, a lot of fighting, from either side this year.
Again, please take care of yourself and others.
Vote. Wear a mask. Let’s push forward.
