Now that we are approaching the one-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are finding that they are running out of “quarrantine hobbies” to try. From baking, to jewelry making, to exercising…just anything to pass the time at home. Here is a list of 45 things to do when you feel like there is nothing to do:

  1. Write a letter to a family member or friend.
  2. Go through your closet and get rid of what you do not wear anymore.
  3. Use the clothes you kept after the clean out to make cute new outfit ideas.
  4. Clean your room. (especially under your bed…you cant hide all the clutter under there forever)
  5. Color in a coloring book.
  6. Go for a walk around the block.
  7. Read a new book or magazine.
  8. Start making a photo album to look back on old memories.
  9. Paint your nails.
  10. Write about your week to discharge all your thoughts and feelings.
  11. Clean your makeup brushes.
  12. Watch a makeup tutorial and try a new funky look with those clean brushes.
  13. Try and learn a different way to style your hair.
  14. Turn on the food channel and make what they are cooking.
  15. Reach out to an old friend you have not spoken to in a while.
  16. Water your plants (they will thank you for it).
  17. Treat yourself to a relaxing bath.
  18. Spend some quality time with your pets.
  19. Go for a bike ride.
  20. Set up a zoom meeting with your best friends.
  21. Make some popcorn and have a movie night.
  22. Go stargazing in your backyard.
  23. Build a pillow fort and go “camping” indoors.
  24. Try out some online language classes.

  35. Check in on your personal finances and make a budget.
