Tis the season for fall leaves and chilly weather! The best time of year to play folklore and evermore by Taylor back to back, wearing your warm and comfy clothes, make pumpkin cookies, and of course, Indulge in the fact pumpkin spice szn is finally here!

Here are the best pumpkin flavored drinks in WC!

  1.  Starbucks
  • uncheckedFirst up on the list (since it is right on campus) is Starbucks! The OG that created the decadent, delicious drink that makes autumn so much more sweeter and cozy! Although this is the standard pumpkin spice, it never fails to miss when you’re fresh out of class and feeling the need to really BASK in the autumn season, with the leaves falling off the trees around you, smelling the fresh post-rain weather. Also Starbucks happens to be right in the WCU library, perfect way to fuel up before studying!
  1.  Twin Valley
  • uncheckedWhen I first heard Twin Valley had made a spot in West Chester early in the semester, I truly thought the coffee shops around here could not get any better! As a Twin Valley lover from back home, I was more than excited to try their pumpkin spice latte on their opening day, and boy did they not disappoint! My best friend and I tried their iced pumpkin spice latte and we were both taken back by the instant hit of pumpkin taste it had. The flavor was so exquisite and long-lasting for an iced drink that we both couldn’t stop saying “WOW!” in between sips. Even better to pair your pumpkin spice with Starbucks’ seasonal pastries, like the baked apple croissant or the pumpkin cream cheese muffin. I would rate it a strong 8/10 for the aroma, taste, and presentation which I am biased on because I am just in love with Twin Valley’s coffee logo :)

  1.  Mayday Coffee
  • unchecked Last but certainly not least, one of West Chester’s newest, bustling cafes from California is Mayday! This town favorite opened this past spring, and has been a staple for any newcomers and locals in the West Chester area. With their aesthetic, beige vibe housed with flower workshops and intricate dining, this is the perfect place to chill out with friends, and to try their latest pumpkin spice drink. Served hot or iced, this drink is a delicate mix of pumpkin spice, emphasis on the SPICE if you are into your drink being a little more tangy and flavorful. I mean pumpkin spice + aesthetic coffee shop + chilly weather  + hanging with your friends? Sounds like the perfect day to me!

Overall, all of these places definitely have spots for the devoted pumpkin spice lovers who are dedicated to appreciating the beauty of this season after the scorching hot summer we all had. It is nice to come into autumn with a breath of relief, walking through town to any of these shops to try their unique takes on the infamous pumpkin spice drink. Enjoy it now before fall szn is over!
