GENERAL Q&A
How do you like Western University?
I love Western and my program. I’m glad I ended up coming here and am happy with how I’ve evolved as a student since first year!Â
What’s your favourite part of your program?
The courses offered by FIMS are so diverse. It’s nice to be in a faculty where no matter what topics I’m interested in, there’s probably a course that deals with it!Â
How did you get involved with Her Campus Western?
I heard about Her Campus through friends who work here already, and I decided to apply as a Junior Editor; they seemed to enjoy their positions and I wanted to become more involved with campus life.Â
What’s your favourite part about being an editor?
I love editing, so I enjoy that I get to develop that skill while reading interesting articles from my peers.Â
What’s one piece of advice you can give to first-year students?Â
Go to office hours, you’ll be better off for it. Explore campus to find lowkey study spots on campus (outside of Weldon and the other major libraries), so you have somewhere to go when exam season hits and the libraries are overcrowded.Â
What’s one thing you want to check off your bucket list?
Visit Iceland.Â
Would you rather fight a horse-sized duck or 10 duck-sized horses?
10 duck-sized horses would be so amusing. I wouldn’t fight them. Â
