No gym, no worries! Here are my favourite Youtube channels for fitness and health. They will lead you through intensive workout videos that can be done at home with minimal equipment.
1) Â Â Â Fitness Blender

Fitness Blender is a website and YouTube channel started and run by husband and wife team, Daniel and Kelli. They upload weekly videos, and over the years their channel has accumulated over 500 free workout videos. In addition to workouts, Fitness Blender posts suggestions and recipes for a clean diet. Fitness Blender’s workouts are challenging, but very do-able. The channel has a large variety of videos, including longer full body workouts, as well as shorter and more targeted workouts. Having both Daniel and Kelli in one video is also great because the pair work well together while also encouraging the audience.
My favourite videos from Fitness Blender are “Belly Fat Burner HIIT” and “24 Minute At Home Abs Workout.”

2) Rebecca Louise

Rebecca Louise is an online fitness guru, uploading videos frequently on her Youtube channel. After moving from the UK to California, she realized she had a passion for fitness and helping others stay active. Her videos are usually between five and 20 minutes in length and target specific body parts. She also started a series of celebrity workouts, inspired by people like Gigi Hadid and Julianne Hough. In most of Rebecca’s videos, viewers will meet Alfie, Rebecca’s adorable dog who keeps her company as she exercises. In addition to Youtube, Rebecca has a website where she frequently posts blogs about fitness, nutrition, daily life and travel. Since starting her channel, Rebecca has collaborated with other online fitness programs such as XHIT and POPSUGAR Fitness.
My favourite videos from Rebecca’s channel are “Obliques Workout” and “Arm Workout with Weights.”

3) Amanda Russell
Amanda Russell started as a runner, aspiring to be an Olympic athlete. After sustaining an injury, she developed a passion for fitness and began sharing her experiences and expertise through short fitness videos on both Youtube and her website. Her videos require minimal to no equipment and can be completed in the comfort of your own home. Videos range in format, including short informative videos that describe and demonstrate exercise circuits, as well as full videos where Amanda accompanies her viewers throughout the workout. In addition to workout videos, Amanda regularly publishes fitness and food blog posts on her website “Fit Strong Sexy.”
Â
My favourite videos from Amanda are “Full Cardio & Sculpting Workout” and “6 Minute Abs of Steel Ab Workout.”

4) Blogilates
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlcsCAh9WJE
Blogilates is a Youtube channel run by Cassey Ho, a bubbly and upbeat fitness entrepreneur. Her videos, often targeting and toning different body parts, require minimal to no equipment. No matter how difficult the exercises get, Cassey’s positivity and off-topic chatter throughout the videos enable viewers to push through the workouts. In addition to uploading videos every week, Cassey hosts Pop Pilates in-person meet-ups for 500 women at a time. Since beginning her channel, Cassey has expanded from being a fitness guru to a healthy lifestyle role model. If you’re looking to get fit, I would recommend following Cassey’s monthly calendars which tells viewers which videos to do on which day. Cassey also gives suggestions for clean and lean meals to supplement the workouts on her website.
My favourite videos by Blogilates are “6 Min to Sexy Arms!” and “6 Min to Sexy Thighs.”

5) Niomi Smart
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I8aFq6mhEs
Niomi Smart is a lifestyle blogger and vlogger and does not officially have a fitness or health-specific channel or website. Her video content includes a wide variety of topics such as fashion, food, health, beauty and travel. The reason why I recommend watching Niomi’s videos is because she enjoys and suggests a healthy lifestyle to her viewers. If you’re looking for new recipes to improve your diet, check out “What I eat in a day,” a video series on Niomi’s channel. To date, Niomi has 17 of these videos where she shows herself cooking and eating balanced meals throughout the day. In addition to her website and Youtube channel, Niomi published Eat Smart, a cookbook filled with healthy recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Niomi inspired me to lead a healthier life and exercise more frequently. My favourite videos from Niomi are “1. What I Eat in a Day” and “My Morning Workout Routine.”
