Meet Braydon Bissett, this week’s Campus Cutie. He is definitely good looking but read on ladies, because he has one of the biggest hearts, is involved on campus, and is without a doubt one of the sweetest Golden Hawks!
Name: Braydon BissettHometown: OakvilleYear of Study: Second yearProgram: BA KinesiologyRelationship Status: Single
What are you involved in here at Laurier?
I was a referee for intramural sports this year, and I am part of Kin Council and the Athletic Therapy Club. I am also going to be a Don next year!
What ‘most likely to’ would you be most honored to receive?
I would want to be ‘Most likely to be the World Champion of Settlers of Catan’.
What celebrity would you trade lives with?
Jack Johnson, because it seems like he lives a pretty chill and relaxed life.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the fact that I have been able to help people throughout my life, and seeing how I’ve had an impact on their lives in different capacities.
What’s your most listened to song?
Probably Blank Space by Taylor Swift – it’s incredibly catchy and I’m also in love with Taylor Swift.
Who are your role models?
There are a lot of role models in my life, but definitely my parents, they are really loving towards me and my brothers and are very supportive to us and our friends, and that’s something I strive to be like. They have done a really good job of being inclusive and loving people.
Best present you ever received?
Actually this just happened this year, I got a wolf blanket from my grandma, there are 3 wolves on it and it is actually an unreal gift.
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
I hope to be either owning or working at a physiotherapy clinic. I would like to be volunteering at something like a soup kitchen, as well as be married.
If you could have been a child prodigy – what would you have wanted to be skilled at?
Oh, I would want to do something that’s really cool and unique; I would probably choose trampolining! Who wouldn’t want to be really good at trampolining? It would incredibly cool to see a little five year old kid doing backflips, as there aren’t many trampoline prodigies.
What superpower would you want to have for the day?
Teleportation, because you can go anywhere in the world instantly, then adventure across the entire world in one day and then make it back for dinner.
Favourite childhood memory?
My favourite memory would be having a sleepover with all three of my brothers on Christmas Eve and waking up at four in the morning to open presents!
Braydon is an incredible and friendly guy. You can find him in the library hitting the books, reffing an intramural game, or having a good time with friends while obviously making them laugh! Thank you so much for sitting down and chatting with us Braydon, your heart is pure gold and we can’t wait to see all you accomplish in the future.
