Favourite food?
Anyone who knows me knows that I am all about those French fries; when fries are in the way, fries over guys. Working at Wilfâs, if I donât eat a French fry on shift itâs an automatic rough day.
Favourite activity?
As clichĂ© as it sounds, I actually really do like to work out; it is probably one of my favourite pastimes. I donât want to be that person that is obnoxious about the gym   either but that is what I typically do to blow off steam.
Who is your role model?
My role model would probably be my grandmother. She was the sweetest lady ever and she was so cute and kind, and had a heart of gold. Â
Favourite thing about Laurier?
I like of how much of community it is. Even if I am in downtown Toronto, if I see someone with Laurier gear on you may not only say something but you kinda give them that look of acknowledgement like âYou golden hawk, you.â We may not have that same experience but we are still a part of that same community. I feel like we are pretty big family as clichĂ© as that sounds, but people are more friendly and kind to other people from what I hear about in other schools.
Ideal first date?
My ideal date is probably doing something active; by that I donât mean like a hike or a jog. Something like bowling or mini golfing, something that gets you moving with out the awkward conversation coming up. I feel like dinner and a movie is very basic, like you canât really get to know someone at a movie, be thoughtful towards the person.
Favourite fashion must-have?
I would have to say button-ups, not formal ones the casual ones; they make you feel like you are put together but youâre not trying to hard. I love a good pair of sweat pants and rocking a hoodie once in a while, but I donât feel like Iâm as productive when I am super cozy, so itâs a nice in between because I am the queen of cozy (especially on campus) and you donât want to look like youâre going to the Oscars you know what I mean. At the same time I donât want to look like Iâm wearing pajamas to school.
Favourite celebrity?
I want say Jennifer Lawerence because she is a complete badass because she just says it what it is. She seems that she is so intuitive in herself and she doesnât get caught up in all the drama; itâs refreshing.Â
Favourite bar?
PHILâS! Canât get cheaper than Philâs, but Turret is also a good time too so definitely those two for sure!
What is the most interesting thing you have ever seen while working at Philâs?Â
There was this girl and she wanted to dance on this guy, and instead of dancing with him she ended up taking a seat on the ground âcause she missed a step, and she brought him down with her.
Makeup must-haves?
As basic as this sounds, probably concealer and mascara because it lightens and brightens up the face. Especially for me, Iâm very fair skinned and I have blonde hair, so I need certain things to help me distinguish certain parts of my face, and I feel that mascara livens everything up. So if I had two things definitely mascara and concealer.
What products do you use?
For my concealer, I love Mac prolong wear concealer. The only thing that is tricky about it is that you have to make sure that you blend it really well, because if it sets too soon it can become kind of patchy. For mascara, I use two products: I use the Loreal telescopic in the gold tube and I either layer that in the Loreal voluminous carbon black or Maybeline the rocket. But another makeup tip that I have been using as well is actually using mensâ after-shave as a primer; specifically the Nivea for men sensitive after shave balm works best with a beauty blender and itâs good for acne proned skin also.
Margott, you are literally the sweetest human and we are glad we got a chance to chat with you!
