Hair care is a challenge, but a worthwhile one at that. We all want to be able to “let our hair down” in the physical sense, but oftentimes we fail to maintain its health. Everyone’s hair is different and there are many factors to be considered with each individual head of hair. I personally use a multitude of products which I believe benefit my hair; with that being said, the purpose of this article is to share some of those products with you.

1. Lavender Conditioner

I recently purchased this Avalon Organics conditioner from Winners and I love it. My hair looks, feels and smells great. It has a genuine, fresh lavender scent and leaves my hair feeling soft. I would highly recommend this product to all the organic lovers out there. To add to its appeal, this conditioner is 100 per cent vegan-friendly: did I mention it smells fantastic?!

2. Keratin Oil

I love this product! I was recently gifted this weightless oil spray and it works like magic. After I have finished styling my hair I apply this spray for an unreal shine. It honestly revives the look of my hair. I recommend styling your hair and then applying it for a noticeably enhanced appearance.

3. Extraordinary Oil

The name really says it all. I like to apply this hair cream after my shower, once my hair is brushed, but still damp. It smells amazing and truly does leave your hair feeling nourished.

4. Mythic Oil

I typically apply this product after I have finished rolling my hair, as it takes away the dry look that comes from styling. You really only need a little bit to make a big difference — and that’s coming from someone with lots of hair. I don’t have colour treated hair, but I still use and recommend this product.

5. Hair Cream

I received this hair cream as a present and I can’t get enough of it. As someone with naturally curly locks, I need a product that is going to fight against frizz. I typically apply this Argan Magic cream after my shower and after styling my hair, just to tame the frizzies.

6. Dry Shampoo

I have a lot of appreciation for dry shampoo and this one does not disappoint. When I’m in a rush, this brings my hair back to life. I typically like to wash my hair before it gets noticeably oily, but when that is not an option, this Batiste dry shampoo has my back.

Everyone’s hair is different, so I’m not expecting this article to appeal to the whole world. Ultimately, these are a few hair products I enjoy and wanted to share with you. As someone with a lot of hair, I know the importance of hair products and I appreciate the effort it takes to tame the mane. In conclusion: if your hair is anything like mine, these products will not let you (or your hair) down.
