Good Friday may become a bit more exciting with this week’s Friday Faves, as today we’re taking a creative twist on Easter egg decorations. It’s so typical to do the classic dyeing of Easter eggs in food colouring, so I’ve decided to look at some more aesthetically pleasing designs that will have everyone peering into your basket, wondering how on earth you got such pretty eggs!
1. Ombre
Ombre is not only committed to trendy girl hairstyles, but can also be used to create a fabulous looking carton of eggs for this Easter.
2. Sharpie
For all the doodlers out there, grab a hard-boiled egg to draw all over instead of mindlessly doodling on your study notes (guilty).
3. Gold Leaf
If you’re a struggling collegiette with not a lot of funds and riches, then you might as well play the part this Easter and cover your eggs in gold!
4. Galaxy
These eggs are definitely the most mystical out of all the designs. You’ll probably spend just as much time gazing at these Galaxy eggs as you did trying to find them on your Easter egg hunt!
5. Egg-mojis
If you’re an emoji lover like myself and fail to resist throwing five into each text, then this design is perfect for you.
6. Marble
Marble everything is all the hype right now, so why not make your Easter eggs marble as well? It’s the perfect minimalistic design that is very easy to do.
7. Tape
The taped Easter egg can be done two ways: buy pretty rolls of electrical tape that you can use to decorate the egg on its own, or wrap tape around the egg in various positions, insert the egg in food colouring, and you’ll be left with a geometrical design.
Happy Easter, everyone! HCXO
