Positivity and motivation arenā€™t linear concepts; they go hand in hand when it comes to working on and improving your lifestyle. It can affect your mind and behaviour in a multitude of ways that will completely change your outlook on life. Itā€™s easier than ever with exams coming up and midterm marks coming out to get swept up in self-doubt, stress and anxiety, but knowing how to consistently stay positive and turn your dreams and aspirations into reality is a skill that everyone should strive for. A new mindset and a new way of thinking can make a world of difference in improving your quality of life.

The Role of Manifestation

Manifestation is linked to the laws of attraction and is the concept of bringing your dreams and aspirations to life through belief and focused thought. This concept works by believing that your thoughts and emotions can heavily impact your reality and, therefore change the course of your life. Growing up, my mother always taught me the power of the tongue. She taught me the power of words and how the words you say and think about yourself and your goals can influence whether they happen or not. In other words, a positive mindset and visualizing the goal you aspire to accomplish as already been accomplished allow growth and opportunities to enter your life.

The Power of Positivity

Positivity can open so many doors for a person once they decide to break free from the hold that negativity can have in their life. When you keep a positive mindset, you are happier, your mood is better and you are ready to tackle any obstacles that might come your way because you start to believe youā€™re unstoppable. Negative thoughts can cloud judgment and stunt potential, whereas positivity simply unlocks it. Positivity not only boosts your confidence but also helps attract the people and resources needed to be the person you ought to be with a drive and mindset such as that.

How to Use the Power of Positivity and Manifestation to Your Benefit:

Visualize yourself succeeding

Visualize where you want to be in life, focus on the details and believe in all possibilities and outcomes that will come your way. This can be done by writing your goals down in a journal or putting a vision board up in your room. Make it your own because the possibilities are endless!

Positive affirmations

Develop positive affirmations into your daily life and this can help reaffirm your vision for the future and build a foundation for a strong mind.

Practice gratitude in your daily life

Being grateful for all that you have accomplished helps keep you focused on the positive outcomes that have come your way. Being grateful also provides a mindset open to growth, which in turn leads to progress.

Stick to your goals and stay persistent

When it comes to manifestation, persistence is especially important to keep in mind. Donā€™t allow obstacles and distractions to drive you off your course and scare you from becoming the best person you can be. Keep moving forward and maintain a positive mindset because taking risks, staying persistent and challenging yourself are part of the steps needed to accomplish your ambitions.

As someone who has lived their whole life learning this mindset (thanks, Mom) through trial and error, Iā€™d like to think I have the power to transform my life into whatever I wish it to be. Starting out, you might have to ā€œfake it ā€˜till you make itā€ but with determination, focus and persistence, I believe that anyone can apply positivity and manifestation into their daily lives and accomplish more than they couldā€™ve ever thought possible. That said, I suppose Iā€™ll be at the nearest arts and crafts store ready to make a new vision board, and I hope to see you there too!
