I have grown up downhill and cross-country skiing all my life. Â My parents have ingrained a love of the thrill of speed and the inexplicable exhilaration of double black diamonds within my brother and me. Â There are few things I enjoy more than the cold wind stinging your face as you blaze down a trail, quads burning, and focused only on the skiing of the moment. Â However, the skiing itself is not the only thing to look forward to, thereâs the cozy feeling of coming into a warm lodge and sitting by the fire with your hot cocoa, but even more fun is being able to dress in fashionable âski bunnyâ attire! Â Itâs a layering-loverâs dream, and something Iâve narrowed down to nearly a science. Â Youâve got the long underwear (which isnât as weird as it sounds), athletic pants or leggings, thin silk socks and thick wool socks, multiple layers of long sleeve athletic shirts (my faves), neck cover of some sort, and of course snow pants and jacket. Â The real puzzle is putting together the right leggings with the right tops. Â Here are a list of my favorite/some athletic clothes to check out. Â Remember that you donât need to be buying Lulu or Under Armour for the best ski clothing, just find whatâs cute and affordable for you!

Â
You should have some sort of thin long sleeve as a base such as these below.

Â
On top of that layer is the fun part where you can mix and match different quarter-zip long sleeves. Depending on the weather, you may want one or two of these.  My general rule is in the upper 20s and above I only use one, and in the lower 20s and below I use two.  You can find a lot of cute Œ-zips for cheap at Marshalls.

There are plenty of types of wool socks out there, but one quality pair are Smartwool socks
