One of the most powerful ways to share a message is through song, so I thought what better way to say “I love you” this Mother’s Day than with a song that says everything you want to say. Whether you choose one song or an entire playlist, taking the time to send your mom a song or play it for her is a sure way to make her day.
Here, I’ve compiled a list of songs from a variety of genres (but, let’s be honest, it’s mostly country) that just say it best.

Remind your mom (and yourself) that you’ll always be your mama’s little baby. Life may get in the way, but we’re so blessed to have our mamas.

This song can be a tribute to both parents to thank them for all the sacrifices they’ve made (and still make) for you.

On the hardest of days, the best remedy is simple––call your mom. Whether it’s Mother’s Day or a random Tuesday, she’ll love every second you spend together, no matter the distance between you.

Life may not be always for mothers––especially single, low-income mothers––but their appreciation should be elevated in recognition of all the challenges they’ve faced in order to raise you.

Your mom may be humble like mine, but don’t forget to remind her that she’s beautiful in your eyes.
