Her Campus (HC): Pete, first of all, how does it feel to be nominated as campus cutie?Pete Wagenbach (PW): Well, I wasn’t surprised. I feel as though my nomination should have came years ago. It wasn’t the question of if I would be nominated, but more of when.

HC: Your anonymous admirer had wonderful things to say about you. Here’s what they wrote to us, “Once you get past Pete’s rough exterior, he has a very gentle soul. His passion and integrity come without means. Although his eyes twinkle like the stars, it is his smile that resembles a pumpkin on Halloween that make him one of the cutest people, not just in Winona, but on the face of the planet.” How does that make you feel?PW: I love it, I feel as though it speaks to my character, my rocking body, and my use of the English language.

HC: What has been your favorite memory in college?PW: My best memories have not happened yet. When I experience them, you’ll know.

HC: What would be your idea of the perfect first date?PW: Slip n’ Slide & Dragons. But, not necessarily in that order.

HC: What is the first thing you notice about a girl?PW: Whether or not she is wearing sandals.

HC: Do you have any words to live by?PW: You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take –Wayne Gretzkey – Michael Scott –Pete Wagenbach

HC: If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?PW: Emotional.

HC: What’s your relationship status?PW: It’s complicated.

HC: Who would you kill, sleep with & marry –  Phoebe Buffay, Monica Gellar and Rachel Green?PW: When I find out who they are, I’ll let you know.

HC: Blonde, brunettes or red heads?PW: I don’t judge people by their hair, I judge them off of their sandals.

HC: What’s your favorite holiday to dress up for?PW: Arbor Day, I like trees.

HC: What’s the favorite clothing item that you own?PW: My banana suit.

 

HC: If you could be any exotic animal, what would you be?PW: The cockroach from Men in Black.

HC: What is your guilty pleasure?PW: Coloring, while drinking wine and eating cheese. 

HC: What is your most embarrassing moment?PW: Nominating myself to be campus cutie.
