Ladies, as the weather gets warmer, there’s no better time to hit the state parks. Hiking, eno-ing and picnicking in beautiful state parks with friends or family is a great way to spend a nice summer day! Here are a few of the most amazing state parks in South Carolina!
Table Rock State Park
This park has two beautiful trails you can hike. With one 1.9 mile trail circling around creeks, and one 3.5 mile trail that ends in a gorgeous view of the Table Rock Reservoir, there are many different paths you can take depending on how easy – or hard – you want your hike to be.
Aiken State Park
The Aiken State Park is a great spot to go camping, picnicking, fishing, biking, walking and many more activities. With beautiful nature trails and lakes that you can kayak or canoe in, there are a lot of different ways you can spend a day in the beautiful park!
Jones Gap State Park
With more than 30 miles of hiking trails, there’s no shortage of beautiful scenery and waterfalls to hike past in this park! One of the state’s most iconic rivers, the Middle Saluda River, runs straight through Jones Gap, and is definitely a sight to see this summer!
Sesquicentennial State Park
Located right outside of Columbia, the Sesquicentennial State Park is a great place to hit if you want a nice walk to close out a day in the city. It has tons of walking trails and even a ropes course! What’s stopping you?
