Over the past year, I have worked at a preschool and have learned some important life skills from the students and student teachers. The lessons learned are important and definitely can help struggling college students survive the new couple of years and maybe even longer. You never know how much knowledge preschoolers have till you work with hem first hand.
Â
1.Do what you want (within reason)
Because it’s fun, let your creative side shine every once and while and you do, you do, boo!
Â
2. Be as creative as you want
Because you have to love your work before others do
Â
3.Share even when you don’t want too
Sharing is truly caring and you could get a friend out of the deal
Â
4. Napping is key
Napping everyday is key because it keeps you sane and balanced
Â
5. Take a moment to read picture books
I know this seems silly, but some have great messages
Â
6. Keep your hands to yourself
Self explanatory, don’t be in others business
Â
7. If you make a mess it’s your responsibility to clean it up
Even kids clean up after themselves, so as adults we must do the same
Â
8. Say sorry when you hurt someone’s feelings
I know it becomes easy as adults to be in our own worlds, but say sorry when you hurt someone’s feelings. I’ve seen three year olds do it so I know we can.
Â
9. Don’t eat someone else’s sandwich
No one likes a sandwich thief
