What are you involved with on campus?
I run track and I am a member of SAAC (Student Athletes Advisory Council), so we do a lot of community service work around Rock Hill. Most of the time, I am just really involved with track, especially because we travel every weekend.
What events do you run?
I run the 100 meter, 200 meter and the 4X100 meter relay.
What has your experience been like at Winthrop?
I love it! My best memories are definitely with my teammates. We are always together and always traveling. I also love my major, which got me in contact with the right people for an internship and a job. So now I am planning on staying in the United States after I graduate. That was really exciting for me.
Where will you be working?
Townsquare Media. I will help plan events, specifically the Insane Inflatable 5K Run, which came to Winthrop last semester. So basically, we will travel and bring the 5K all over the US and also create some new events along the way. It’s going to be really cool.
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
I hope to be somewhere else in the world. I want to start right here in Charlotte, but I would love to go to Europe and start up my own event planning company. I just want to continue to travel.
What would be three words you would use to describe yourself?
Passionate, energetic and reserved.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am really sport oriented; I like playing all types of sports, especially basketball. I also love music and searching for the next “best thing.” I also DJ on the side and like to make some mixes.
So what concerts have you been to?
I have been to Cold Play, U2 and then a few music festivals.

Valentine’s Day Bonus!
Have any Valentine’s Day plans?
I am actually going to be on a bus coming back from a track meet in Alabama. So no big plans.
What type of qualities do you look for in a girl?
Well we have to have something in common, but also be different at the same time. If we are too similar, that can get boring. I like when a girl can teach me something or make me find some new interests or hobbies. In the past, I don’t have a type of girl. I never just look for a specific kind of girl.
What would be your ideal Valentine’s Day date?
It would be interesting if I wasn’t the one to make the plans. I like making plans, but it would be cool to have the girl offer ideas so we can switch things up.
