Fall is here so it’s the perfect time to take advantage of the nice weather and pretty views by going on cute, cheap dates! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, so I wanted to give some suggestions for date ideas to do with significant others or friends! I’m in college and I know times are rough, so these are all very cost-friendly and easy to do on a budget.
- Have a fall movie marathon
-
These could be Halloween or any fall type of movie. Some of my suggestions are Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or any romcom. If you love a romcom, my favorite for fall is When Harry Met Sally.
- Go apple picking
-
The cost of this of course depends on where you live and where you’re going. If you live in Rock Hill, Windy Hill Orchard isn’t very far and not very expensive either. Apple picking is so cute and fun and you can get a lot of cute pictures out of it!
- Walk in the park
-
Fall is one of the prettiest times of the year so get outside and enjoy it! Go to your nearest park and go on a walk or even bring food and have a picnic. Anything to get outside and able to see all the pretty leaves is worth it.
- Make a fall dessert
-
I am not a cook or a baker, so I do not have a lot of advice on this one. But, it would be so fun to stay in and bake a little sweet treat. Any pie or anything that has pumpkin in it would be perfect for this time of year.
- Have a bonfire
-
If you have a yard and a firepit, a bonfire is a great idea! You can be outside, but still stay warm and make smores. This could easily be done with just a significant other or a bunch of friends. Either way, it’s perfect for fall and the cool weather.
- Painting night
-
Whether you’re painting pumpkins or just canvases, painting is fun any time of the year. But if you paint some fall scenery or a spooky scene, it automatically fits into the fall spirit. Dollar store paints and brushes make for a cheap and successful date.
- Go to a corn maze
-
Corn mazes are the perfect activity to do in the fall. It’s just the right temperature to be outside but still have a good time. Corn mazes are inexpensive and can be a lot of fun with the right person.
- Go to the renaissance fair
-
I have personally never been to the Renaissance Fair, but I have heard they’re a blast. If this is the type of thing you’re usually into, then you’re right in your element. If not, you get to branch out and maybe find a new intertest!
I hope these suggestions were useful and you all find some things to do this fall. Get outside and enjoy this nice weather while we have it. Remember, all of these activities can be done with a partner or just some friends, so go enjoy them with whoever you want!
