Kendall Jenner Reminds Us All to Vote Today

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

This election kinda sucks, if you haven’t noticed…but you should still vote because your vote still counts and bottom line, it’s important to vote. If you haven’t yet decided that you wanted to vote in this election today, maybe Kendall Jenner can persuade you to change your mind. Believe it or not–for all those crazy Kardashian-Jenner haters out there–she’s more than just a pretty face and a talented model…she’s also using her voice to remind us all to vote.

Why is she voting? Because she can. Why should you vote? Because you can.

Jenner uploaded a cute and patriotic photo to Instagram yesterday with the caption “her her her her” wearing a “VOTE” crop-top. If her outfit alone doesn’t make you want to throw on something American and head right on down to the voting booths today, I don’t know what will. Maybe her election campaign video of “Millennials Voting Through the Ages” will change your mind to vote?

Or maybe her modern take on the famous “We Can Do It!” photo reminding us that we as women have a voice and a right to vote?

Or maybe this serious #VoteYourFuture photo will urge you to vote?

No? Okay…let’s throw in the big guns. What about Kendall + puppy!?

But in all seriousness, Kendall clearly cares about America’s future, and you should too. So, follow in Jenner’s footsteps and #RockTheVote.

If you can’t get a ride to your polling place, just ask. If you don’t know who to vote for yet, do your research…you have until 7 tonight! If you don’t know how to vote, someone will help you out.

Voting is important, Collegiettes and Election Day only comes once every four years–so don’t miss your chance. Go vote!
