Loving In The Fire
I’ve burned my fingers
Trying to love the fire
Some live in the embers
And you can’t tame the flames
Â
He says he’s no good
That he’ll singe my heart
He doesn’t know,
All I have left is ash
Â
He sends sparks right through me
Together we’ll dance in the heat
His heart may be darker than coal
But his spirit is as red as the fire
Â
We feed each others flames
Until there’s nothing left to burn
And in the end
Â
We’ll be nothing but smoke
