It’s finally that time of year, folks. The leaves have changed color and the temperature has dropped into the cool 50 degree range. While we currently love showing off our sweaters and boots, soon we are going to have to cover our sweaters with parkas and pull out the beanies and winter gloves.
But we still have a couple weeks or so until snow falls—*fingers crossed*. Until then, here is a to-do list of activities you have to do in Madison in order to fully appreciate how beautiful this town is before it gets covered in snow.
1) Go to the last Farmer’s Market of the season on November 7th!
(Don’t forget the spicy cheese bread!)
2) Study on Bascom Hill.
3) Eat Babcock ice cream.
4) Shop down State Street
Window shopping is best with the college budget.
5) Eat at one of the local food trucks.
Especially the Korean BBQ and spring rolls
6) Visit the Allen Centennial Gardens.
7) Go to a football game.
8) Go to Henry Vilas Zoo.
They have Giraffes.
9) Stroll down the Lakeshore path.
Or, if you are one of those athletic people I envy, run down the Lakeshore path.
10) Have a fall photoshoot.
Because lets be real: the lighting is perfect, fall fashion is cute, the leaves make the prettiest background, and we all love taking pictures of ourselves.
Do these 10 activities soon because before you know it, Madison will be covered with ice, and you will be covered head to toe with the latest wind breaking technology and trying to block the icy wind from burning your face.
