Information and data regarding millions of Facebook users may have been shared with a political consulting firm during the 2016 election season. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will testify before Congress about the unauthorized release of many users’ personal information.

 

5. Chinese Space Station Falls

China’s first prototype space station landed in the Pacific Ocean on April 1; the event ensued after China lost control of it in March 2016. No injuries occurred when the station landed, and the remains drifted to the bottom of the ocean.
