7 Non-Alcoholic Drinks to Make This Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

We’ve waited long enough— it’s finally Pumpkin Spice Latte season. Who said you had to stick to the basics, though? Maybe it’s time to try something a little different. Let’s get extra with these new to-die-for fall recipes:

1. Apple Cider Floats

Ingredients:

  • Apple cider

  • Ice cream (for our lactose intolerant friends, use dairy-free ice cream)

  • Caramel ice cream topping (or dairy-free caramel sauce)

  • Cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Add two scoops of ice cream into a glass.

2. Drizzle a spoonful of caramel on top of the ice cream and add a dash of cinnamon on top.

3. Cover the ice cream with apple cider. Finally, add another scoop of ice cream and top it off with caramel and cinnamon.

3. Serve cold with a spoon or straw.

Hint: You can also blend these ingredients together for a Caramel Apple Milkshake!

2. Butterbeer

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles cream soda

  • 1 teaspoon imitation butter extract

  • ÂĽ pumpkin puree

  • 2 cups apple cider

  • Ice

  • Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

1. Add pumpkin puree, cream soda and imitation butter to a saucepan and cook on medium until well-combined.

2. Set the mixture aside to chill for three to four hours.

3. Combine the mixture with apple cider in a pitcher and stir.

4. Fill each glass with ice, and serve drinks in glasses. Top the drink off with whipped cream if that’s your thing.

3. Candy Corn Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 part Crush Orange Soda

  • 1/3 part Yellow Gatorade

  • 1/3 part Zero Calorie Lemonade Vitamin Water

  • Ice

Preparation:

1. Fill a pitcher or cup to the brim with ice.

2. Pour in the orange soda until you’ve filled about one-third of your glass.

3. Pour Gatorade slowly and directly on top of the ice. Let it trickle down on top of the orange soda until it fills two-thirds of your container.

4. Finally, slowly pour the lemonade on top of the ice and let it fuse into the Gatorade naturally.

4. Golden Apple Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1 part white grape juice

  • 1 part lemonade

  • 2 parts ginger ale
