The voice of David Kemmerer is one you want to familiarize yourself with because you may just hear it on the radio one day. This junior at UW-Madison, and former Campus Cutie, is following his big dreams. A simple hobby of singing and playing guitar lead him to write and record his own music this summer—which may have taken over the past year of his life. Yet, his passion and hard work has more than paid off; David released four new demo tracks in August.
With a hint of Country and love for summer, these tunes will have you singing along in no time. “When Summer Rolls Around” was his favorite song to record alongside “Home,” “Dirt Road from Yesterday,” and “Perfect for Me.” All of these songs can be found on his YouTube channel.Â
David would like to thank Winterland Studios in Minneapolis, MN and good friend Joe Greening for recording all the videos. He plans on coming out with more music very soon, as he will be spending next summer in Nashville, TN! Â Take a listen to these songs, knowing it will leave you wanting to hear more. Bravo, David!
