October 4th
Kristen Chenoweth is coming to the Overture Center. She starred in Broadway productions such as You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Wicked (which will also be at the Overture Center this season).
October 6th
Glass Animals is an indie rock band from Oxford. Check out their song Pools if you are not familiar with them. They will be playing at the Orpheum Theater.
October 7th
An Irish rock band called Kodaline, which was originally known as 21 Demands will be playing at the Majestic Theatre. Listen to All I Want to get a sense of their style.
October 8th
Saint Motel is an indie pop band that will be performing at High Noon Saloon. If their song My Type does not make you want to get up and dance, then I don’t know what will!
October 14th
If you love to dance, then Disclosure playing at the Alliant Energy Center will be right up your alley. Their debut album was nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammys.
October 17th
Rapper Mac Miller will be at The Orpheum Theater, and that will definitely be a crazy performance!
October 18th
Bronze Radio Return is an indie rock sextet that sings the catchy song Shake, Shake, Shake. They will be taking over the Majestic Theater.
October 22nd
Trevor Hall is a singer-songwriter with a mix of reggae and acoustic rock sound. His song Green Mountain State will capture your heart. He is such a unique artist, and you can catch him at the Majestic Theater!
October 24th
The music duo, Cherub, will be playing at the Orpheum Theater. Some of their songs well known songs are Doses and Mimosas, Monogamy, and XOXO. This is not a concert to miss!
October 30th
The month wraps up at the Halloween with Zedd concert. Dillon Francis will also be performing that evening at the Alliant Energy Center. What a great way to start your Halloweekend!
October has an amazing lineup of performers, with exciting acts almost every day. Hopefully you can find some great opportunities to enjoy live music. There is nothing better than grabbing some friends to dance the night away with after hours of hard work. On a college student’s budget it will be hard to decide between them all!
