This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WM chapter.

Her Dorm Style is a series Her Campus William and Mary is doing in conjunction with the great dorm and apartment items from Dormify! Different HCWM staff members are putting together collections that reflect their personal style. Check back on Her Campus William and Mary for more My Dorm Style articles!

Today, we’ve got a collection from Alexis Canty, HCWM’s VP of Business!

[ 1 ] Icelandic Dream Duvet Twin Set $189 SALE $129.50 || [ 2 ] Can’t Sleep Journal $17 [ 3 ] Conceal Shelf $10 || [ 4 ] Create It Print $30 || [ 5 ] Trigem Jewelry Tree $25

I call this particular group of products my Class and Sass collection.  This name bridges the gap between two very different ideas.  The term class conveys my admiration for all things traditional, delicate, and valuable while sass conveys my love for creativity and innovation.

On the class side of the collection, the Icelandic Dream Duvet Twin Set is one of those timeless products.  It brings a hint of nature and art in unison with my favorite tones of lavender, light green, and blue.  These warm colors help to center the space and provide the harmonious energy necessary for a happy lifestyle.  I personally love to do yoga whenever I have the chance and I feel as though the element of tranquility is significant to maintaining any healthy, happy space.

The next classy feature is the Trigem Jewelry Tree.  I love it because it combines the natural elements that I love with values that I hold dear.  The tree serves as a symbol oftentimes for growth and as an indicator of family history.  Many things that I have, especially jewelry, have been given to me by family or close friends.  This item functions as the perfect display piece to illustrate just how much I love them and my amazing gifts.

The term class can hold a double meaning seeing how the Conceal Shelf is a funky yet functional way of making sure your space is neat and orderly as you pile the many books and school items atop this innovative item.

The definition of sass is embodied within items such as the Create It Print or the Can’t Sleep Journal.  I’m a lover of words and the way people use these words to create meaning.  Journals provide any person with a pen or pencil the opportunity to put the ideas that they create out into the world.  The Create It print is a short yet inspirational piece that can serve as a constant reminder of what can be achieved each day.  Both of these items make statements that I treasure as a liberal arts student and English major at that!  They give truth and meaning to the collection just as the aforementioned products provide a sense of peace and harmony.

You cannot go wrong with the Class and Sass collection.  I love each of the items that I have chosen and I’m sure you would too!
