Describe yourself in three words:Â dank meme enthusiast (but actually: witty, honest, indecisive)
Favorite movie: Either Finding Nemo, Midnight in Paris, or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Favorite song:Â Last Request by Paolo Nutini but my karaoke song is September by Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Wawa or Cookout? Cookout. I have a weakness for shakes and hushpuppies.
Starbucks or Aromas? Aromas because one of the baristas always gives me a few extra punches on my punch card for free coffee.
What’s something most people don’t know about you? I’m very guarded and may seem aloof or like I don’t have a personality at first, but once you get to know me I’m pretty cool and funny. Also I fell while holding a pencil when I was eight and I still have some graphite in my right hand from that incident.
What’s your favorite thing about William and Mary? Everyone says this but the people! I met my best friends on my freshman hall, but I’ve gotten to know so many different people through my activities, through studying abroad, and through mutual friends. Everyone is so passionate and, if we’re being honest, a little weird. It’s what makes this campus so great. Also the campus itself is beautiful.
If you were President of the College for one day what would you do? CREATE MORE DAY STUDENT PARKING
What’s your favorite thing about Her Campus? I’ve loved getting to meet new people through Her Campus and being able to write in a nonacademic setting!
What motivated you to get involved with Her Campus? I just kind of showed up at the first meeting on a whim and it stuck with me. I’ve always liked writing, and Her Campus is the perfect way to do so in a low-key environment. It’s the only club I’ve stuck with for all four years at W&M!
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned here at W&M? It’s okay to ask for help and to prioritize your own mental well-being over your schoolwork or your activities. It doesn’t make you weak or selfish. Also, your GPA does not define your worth as a person.
