In the rush of midterms and papers it’s easy to get caught up with too much work, but no worries! Her Campus WPUNJ offers these easy and helpful tips that will make the mid-semester mash-up a breeze.
1. Make to-do lists. As college students we tend to have one–too-many things on our mind. Write to-do lists for every day and remove the clutter from your mind. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with work being thrown at you, so making to-do lists will keep you on top of the game!

2. Study in groups. Making study groups is a good way to motivate you to study. If you surround yourself with other students studying, you will be more likely to get things done. If you see others studying, it will encourage you to focus and get your work done as well. Studying with others will also give you different perspectives on the course material and give you a chance to help each other out.

3. Outline your papers. Outlining your papers is a good technique to use when you have trouble staying on topic. It will allow you to write you papers quickly without missing any major points. Having that set guideline to refer to will keep you on topic and focused!
4. Relax. Sounds a little crazy, doesn’t it? It’s important that you put aside time to be able to relax and breathe! Once you feel overwhelmed take the time out of your busy week and do something you enjoy. Working under all these pressures won’t allow you to work to the best of your ability. It’s not a crime if you need some you-time. So every now and then sit down, kick back, and relax!
