Every year we make New Years resolutions, and most times they fall flat. Without a daily reminder or someone there to encourage and support you, it’s easy to get off track.
Here are 5 ways to stay on top of your resolutions this year.
Â
1) Daily Reminders Written on Paper
Seeing what needs to be done everyday written in front of you really puts it in perspective. Hand-writing your tasks for the day is different and more effective than just putting a reminder in your phone.
Â
2) Set Up A Reward System For Your Progress
Have points on the road to your end goal to reward yourself for a job well done.
Â
3) Download An App That Sends Daily Positive Messages
Getting positive messages is good for the soul. There are apps that send daily positivity at whatever time you have set for a dose of encouragement.
Â
4) Try To Find Some Friends With Similar Goals
Finding people who are trying to accomplish something similar to what you are allows you to give and receive encouragement. It’s easier to accomplish goals when you have support from people who are going through the same thing.
Â
5) Keep The End Goal In Mind
Most goals don’t get accomplished because people lose sight of the end goal. Keep a tangible reminder of what the struggle is intended to lead to in the end.
Best of luck with those New Year’s resolutions, collegiettes! HCXO
