Pineapples BELONG on Pizza!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WPUNJ chapter.

That’s it. You read the title there’s nothing else to say.

Just kidding, but if it were that easy to make an argument about having pineapple on pizza then I would be done. I am making this article out of an article I read which outraged me (jokingly; I’m not being serious) and I needed to go against this article. Some of you may have read her article but her name is Camila Vasquez. I will link her article in which she claims that pineapples do NOT belong on pizza. Do Pineappleā€™s Belong on Pizza? | Her Campus While she is one of my best friends, I cannot agree with her on her claim. So here is my perspective on why it DOES belong on pizza.

1. It Tastes Exquisite

I threw out the word ‘delicious’ because it would not do pineapple on pizza justice. Whenever it is a summer’s day, you can go out with friends or family and buy yourself a can of soda and a slice of pineapple pizza. The pineapples would be cold, and you can stay refreshed and have a good meal with friends. Plus, it can be a comfort food!

2. It’s Fun

While plain cheese or pepperoni are good to eat if you ever want to have a fun time or spice it up, you can order a pineapple pizza. You’ll have everyone talking about you (positively talking about you of course)!

3. I 100% Approve this Pizza

Camila mentions Gordon Ramsay not approving the pizza. Well guess what? I don’t care if he doesn’t approve of it, if you like it then you eat that pineapple pizza with lots of pride and make sure you keep on ordering it! Plus, I approve this pizza so you’re not alone when it comes to ordering it!

PSA: If you also like Gordon Ramsay, that’s cool too LOL!

Overall, this food topic can go on forever, but the main idea is that if you have not given it a try then you definitely should! And for those who do like pineapple on pizza then thank you and I appreciate you a lot!
