Self-care is What You Need to Do for Spring Break!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WPUNJ chapter.

As the mid-term season is coming our way, so is Spring Break! Some people are traveling outside of the state or country, others might be working extra hours at their job, or even doing homework to earn a higher GPA.

If thereā€™s anything Iā€™ve been learning these last few years is self-care is extremely important.

Self-care can mean a lot of different things to everyone. Whenever I like to do self-care really depends on my mood. Normally I listen to music/podcasts, watch tv, talk to friends, or use my favorite candles from Bath and Body Works. If I feel like doing something active, I take a walk outside. Since Spring is slowly coming, this is a good time to start going outside and being active. You can do this with friends, family, or even by yourself.

College students deserve some time to themselves! They’ve all worked hard to get where they want to go in life whether this is getting good grades, joining multiple clubs, fraternities/sororities, or earning an internship.

Take the time to do self-care, it will do wonders for you and help you in the long run!
