Cheap 1-2 Day Getaway Ideas for Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

Spring Break can get quite expensive if you are planning a week trip. Instead of spending about $2,000 this spring break, look for a cheap 1-2 day getaway!

1. New York City Red Eye Bus Trip

Browns Tours will take you to NYC for $85. This would be a great weekend getaway for a day during spring break!

2. Rent a Cabin at a Local Park

Most cabins can hold 12 people, so gather your best friends and only pay $20 a piece per night to stay in a cabin!

3. Indoor Waterpark

Indoor waterparks will be the cheapest way to get your “beach” fix. There is always so much to do in any indoor waterpark. If you fill a to max capacity,                                  you will be paying about $30 a night!

4. Dave and Busters

Who says anyone is too old for arcades! Dave and Busters has dinner and gaming deals that start at $17! Why not stay a night in Pittsburgh, PA and have some                            fun?

5. Shopping Trip

We all love shopping, so why not make a trip out of it? Find a mall you could get lost in and spend a night in a hotel nearby and find a nail salon to relax!

Don’t go broke this spring break!
