As the end of your semester is wrapping up, there’s only one thing left between you and winter break, the one thing all students dread, FINALS WEEK. The classes you’ve been working so hard to get through, come down to what you get on your final exam. In other words it’s crunch time. You realize what you have to get on your final exam, in order to get the grade you want in the class. As you’re staying up all night, trying to cram in any last minute studying to pass the class you’ve put up with all year, don’t get too caught up and overwhelmed, your going to get through it. Here are some final studying tips to help you make it through your finals, just remember everyone is going through it, your going to be just fine, that is with the help of these tips:

Relax

Stressing won’t do you any good or make your grade any better, so don’t do it. As much as you don’t think its possible, take a deep breath and realize, you can do this!

Don’t Procrastinate

Waiting until the night before your exam to study is never a smart idea. Not only will you stress yourself out even more but more than likely you wont do that well on your exam. Invest in a planner. Make sure you write when each of your finals are and schedule times to study for each class. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Study in a place with no distractions

Put away anything that will take your mind off what you need to study with, yes, this includes your cell phone, your Facebook page tab on your computer, and sitting around your friends tempting you to get your mind off the topic. I know it sounds miserable but lets be honest, no one ever gets anything done when there’s good twitter drama going on. Put it away and keep it out of sight!

Take Breaks!

I know you want to get as much information as you can with the time you have, but taking 5-10minute breaks will help you retain the information. Go pick up a healthy snack or use this time to catch up on the social media you’ve been dying without.

Get plenty of sleep

Your body needs 8 hours of sleep, make sure you’re getting to bed at a reasonable hour so your mind and body will be well rested and ready to take on the information you’ve been studying.

Eat healthy

Eating healthy and not skipping meals will help you feel good and give your body the nutrients it needs to focus on what you need to know to help you study. It’ll also give you the energy to push through those long nights in the library.

Exercise

Exercising will relieve the stress you have, you may think you don’t have time but a 30-minute workout will help your body relax. This is something you can do when switching to a different subject.
