Thanksgiving is finally here with a much needed break from classes! This is it, our last “breath of fresh air” before the chaos of finals begins. And while many of us will enjoy being able to take time off from schoolwork, there are still steps you can take to make your break a productive and relaxing one! Here are a few tips to help you stay productive this Thanksgiving!
1. Check your email regularly. Some professors may send out emails on updates for the class, study guides or even just clarifications on current assignments. Now, I’m not saying you have to check it during family time, just once a day will be enough to keep you up to date!
2. Space out your homework. Unfortunately, most of us will have some type of work to do over break. So instead of cramming it all in last minute, take a little time out of each day to get some work done!
3. Plan ahead. If you have assignments due right when you get back from break, do those first! That way, if you do get behind, you won’t have to stress on Sunday night!
But most importantly, relax! We are almost on the home stretch so sit back, relax and eat some turkey (or tofu) because you’ve almost made it! Happy Thanksgiving, collegiettes!
