Having some trouble transitioning your beauty looks from winter to spring? Not to worry! Here’s some beauty advice that might help you if you want to change your look to adhere to the new weather around the corner.Â
1. Try a coral or pink-toned blush. This is something that I have been using a lot lately since the weather has warmed up, and one of my favorites is this blush from Milani called Luminoso. This company is vegan and affordable, and their products are excellent quality. I purchased this blush a few weeks ago and have been wearing it almost every day!Â
2. Try some pastel eyeshadows. A lot of women claim that their eye color prevents them from experimenting with eyeshadow colors, but I’m here to tell you that is a lie! No matter if you have blue, green, brown, grey or hazel eyes, you can wear whatever color eyeshadow you wish. Many companies have been launching new spring products that are wonderful for transition, such as Too Faced and Tarte. Â
3. Look into your favorite brand’s spring and summer lip colors. This time of year is always awesome for trying lipsticks. Colour Pop has some gorgeous new lipsticks in pinks and reds that are long-lasting and only $5-6! Tarte is, of course, always popping up with gorgeous new products, as well.Â
4. If you have oily skin, try a mattifying moisturizer like this one from Shiseido. I like this for when the weather is getting more humid because of my skin type, and it prevent shininess from occurring. Â
5. Try some spring hairstyles. With the weather warming up, it might be tempting to chop all your hair off. However, if that isn’t something you’re interested in doing, experiment with up-dos to keep your neck cooled off on those humid April days. It might take some practice, but you might be surprised with what you can come up with! Also, even though it might sound completely insane, consider trying a pastel hair color if you’re looking for some drastic change. They tend to fade nicely and can even be combined for fun highlights!Â
Hopefully these tips will help you put your best face forward this spring. Stay flawless, collegiette!Â
